PAWTUCKET, RI — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a man on a domestic strangulation charge on Jan. 21, 2026.
Carlos Vieira, 25, of Pawtucket, was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant out of the Pawtucket Police Department.
Vieira was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department on scene.
Man arrested on child pornography charge in Lincoln

LINCOLN, RI — Members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a man for possession of child pornography on Jan. 21, 2026.
Robert Ditto, 42, of Pawtucket, was processed at the State Police Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Sixth Division District Court.
Judge Isherwood set bail at $10,000 personal recognizance.
Special conditions include no intended contact with minors, limited internet access and the forbiddance of applying for a passport.
