NEWBURY, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on Tenney Pond Road.
Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 2:43 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2026, for a reported rollover into a pond.
Jeffrey Linsky, 69, of Wells River, was driving northbound on Tenney Pond Road in a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado when he overturned the vehicle into a body of water off the roadway.
Linsky was found unresponsive.
Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced deceased.
Road conditions at the time were packed snow with clear weather.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
