NEWBURY, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Tenney Pond Road on Jan. 22, 2026.
Police responded to the scene at approximately 2:43 p.m. for a reported rollover into a pond.
Jeffrey Linsky, 69, of Wells River, was driving northbound on Tenney Pond Road in a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado when he overturned the vehicle into a body of water off the roadway, according to police.
Linsky was found unresponsive.
Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced deceased.
Road conditions at the time were packed snow, and weather was clear.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
