WICKFORD, RI — A Providence man was arrested on fraud charges Tuesday morning following an investigation by state police and local authorities.
Troopers arrested Vianney Soto, 20, of Providence, at 11:20 a.m. on charges of bank fraud and obtaining money or property by false pretense or personation.
The arrest resulted from an investigation by the state police barracks with assistance from the North Providence Police Department and the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office.
Soto was processed and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
