OLEAN, NY — A West Valley woman was arrested on a drug charge following a traffic stop early Friday.
Mary B. Place, 51, was taken into custody at approximately 1:03 a.m. Jan. 17, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies observed paraphernalia in plain view during the traffic stop, leading to a search of the vehicle.
Suspected methamphetamine was located in the vehicle and on Place’s person during the search, authorities said.
Place was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing.
She was arraigned in Olean City Court and released under supervision.
