POWNAL, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 73-year-old woman on a second DUI charge following a motor vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to a crash on U.S. Route 7 southbound at 3:39 p.m.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Susan Fuhlbrigge of Pownal.
Upon contact, Fuhlbrigge displayed signs of impairment, police said.
She was screened and subsequently taken into custody for driving under the influence, second offense.
Fuhlbrigge was transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.
She was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Bennington Criminal Division, on Feb. 9 at 8:15 a.m.
