WOONSOCKET, RI — Rhode Island State Police arrested three people on various charges and executed a bench warrant during a series of incidents.
At 11:45 a.m., troopers arrested Emanuel Costa, 22, of Woonsocket, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic simple assault originating from the Cranston Police Department.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Mendon Road in Woonsocket.
Costa was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Cranston Police Department.
At 2 p.m., troopers arrested Joe Guzman, 44, of Providence, for larceny under $1,500.
The arrest resulted from Trooper Muirhead being approached by the victim and subsequently locating Guzman on Salmon Street in Providence.
Guzman was taken into custody without incident and transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed and turned over to the ACI Men’s Intake Center as a bail violator pending arraignment.
At 12:03 a.m., troopers arrested Dacia Mackinnon, 49, of Providence, on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference on the original charge of failure to stop for accident originating from the Cranston Police Department.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue in Providence.
Mackinnon was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
At 12:11 a.m., troopers arrested Olalowo Adegbenro, 53, of Providence, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, first offense, BAC unknown, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, second offense.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in Providence.
Adegbenro was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by the justice of the peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
