AUBURN, NY — A Liverpool man turned himself in to Auburn City Court on Jan. 14 on two felony warrants.
Tyland T. Thompson, 31, of Liverpool, surrendered to the court, and Auburn Police responded to take him into custody, according to Sergeant Walters.
Thompson was arrested on a warrant issued out of Auburn City Court for felony criminal contempt.
Police said Thompson violated a full stay away order of protection by calling the victim and then her family members.
The offense was elevated from a misdemeanor to a felony due to Thompson having previous domestic violence convictions within the preceding five years, police said.
Thompson was also arrested on an indictment warrant issued out of Cayuga County Court.
He was charged with two felony counts of aggravated family offense and two counts of criminal contempt for a domestic-related incident.
Thompson was transported to Cayuga County Jail, where he was lodged pending arraignment.
He was charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, on the arrest warrant.
On the indictment warrant, he was charged with two counts of aggravated family offense, a class E felony, and two counts of criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor.
