ROYALTON, VT — Authorities seized multiple firearms and ammunition during a search warrant execution on Route 14 on Jan. 16.
The Windsor County Sheriff’s Department executed the warrant at approximately 7:45 p.m., according to an incident summary released by the department.
Sgt. Beraldi led the operation, which was assisted by the Royalton Police Department.
Deputies seized a 12-gauge shotgun, an AR-15-style rifle and ammunition during the search.
The sheriff’s department is investigating the illegal possession of firearms by a prohibited person.
The investigation is ongoing.
