Two arrested in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested two men on outstanding warrants Thursday.

Thomas J. Adams, 53, of Hartford, turned himself in at police headquarters at 10:27 a.m. on an active failure to appear warrant.

Adams was processed and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

He was scheduled to be transported to Manchester Superior Court Friday morning at 9 a.m.

John R. Barnard, 46, of Ellington, was arrested at 10:01 p.m. on an active arrest warrant.

Barnard’s charge stems from a February incident in which police determined he called a victim in violation of a full no contact restraining order.

Barnard was located in Vermont and taken into custody.

He was processed and held on a $55,000 surety bond.

He was also scheduled to be transported to Manchester Superior Court Friday morning at 9 a.m.
