Man arrested on child pornography charge in Foster

FOSTER, RI — Members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested a 23-year-old man on a charge of possession of child pornography on Jan. 14.

Zachary Damiani, of Foster, was processed at State Police Headquarters and transported to Third District Court.

Damiani was arraigned by the Honorable Magistrate Ippolito, who issued $5,000 bail with surety and special conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access.

In separate incidents on Jan. 14, the ACI Investigations Unit charged three men with various offenses.

Frank Bonilla, 33, of Woonsocket, was charged with domestic violence – violation of a no contact order – 3rd offense.

Anderson Price, 60, of Pawtucket, was charged with possession of a controlled substance Schedule I-V – less than 10 grams.

Darren Lasalle, 48, of Woonsocket, was charged with domestic violence – violation of a no contact order – 3rd offense and obstruction of the judicial system.

All three were arraigned in Third Division District Court and remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On Jan. 15, the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Francisco Martinez, 39, of Providence, for obtaining property by false pretenses/personation over $10,000.

Martinez was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Also on Jan. 15, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Middletown Police Department arrested two men on warrants from the Middletown Police Department.

Mylikai J. Brown, 18, of Middletown, was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant for first-degree child molestation (six counts).

Paul A. Rene, 72, of Middletown, was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Both were taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Middletown Police Department.

On Jan. 16, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Sean Williams, 47, of Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Providence Police Department for domestic violence – simple assault and domestic violence – disorderly conduct.

Williams was taken into custody and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene.
