BRIDGTON, ME — Officers responded to a mental health incident involving a threat of self-harm Wednesday morning on Sam Ingalls Road.
The Bridgton Police Department received the call at approximately 10:35 a.m.
Officers worked with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and the Bridgton Fire Department Drone Team to investigate the situation.
Responders were able to safely resolve the incident and connect those involved with appropriate resources and referrals.
A section of Sam Ingalls Road was temporarily closed to traffic during part of the response.
