Man wanted on burglary charge in Phillipsburg

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — Police are seeking a man accused of burglarizing a business on South Main Street last month.

Terry A. Brandon, 45, of Phillipsburg, is wanted on charges of burglary, theft and credit card offenses.

On Jan. 30, officers responded to a business in the 100 block of South Main Street for a reported burglary called in by the owner who was viewing surveillance video off-site.

When officers arrived, Brandon was observed at the rear of the business wearing clothing matching the description provided by the owner, according to police.

During the investigation, Brandon was found to have several active bench warrants out of Phillipsburg Municipal Court, police said.

He was also found in possession of a credit card scanning device, banking items that were not his own, narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

Brandon was arrested and taken to the Warren County Jail before being released pending court appearances.

He failed to appear for scheduled court appearances and a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.

Brandon may be in the Phillipsburg or Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, area.
