SHELDON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on a fugitive warrant during a traffic stop on Route 105.
On Jan. 14, 2026, at approximately 2:32 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on Route 105 in Sheldon.
A passenger was identified as Kyle Genson, 39, of Sheldon.
Genson was found to have several warrants out of Pennsylvania.
Genson was taken into custody without incident and transported to the barracks for processing.
The extraditable warrants were for the offense of burglary, a felony grade F2 in Pennsylvania.
Per order of the court, Genson was held on $10,000 bail.
He was lodged at Northwest Correctional Facility.
Genson was ordered to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Jan. 15, 2026, at 1 p.m. for the offense of fugitive from justice.
