Woman turns herself in on assault charge in Hanover Township

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police arrested a woman on multiple charges following an incident at an apartment complex.

Alexis Thornhill, 46, of New Jersey, turned herself in at police headquarters Thursday.

The Hanover Township Police Department had obtained an arrest warrant for Thornhill on charges of criminal trespass, simple assault and harassment following an incident at the Dundee Apartment Complex on Jan. 8, 2026.

Thornhill was processed and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Tupper.

She was later released on unsecured bail.
