Traffic stop leads to drug seizure in Oswego

OSWEGO, NY — A traffic stop earlier this month led to the seizure of cocaine and fentanyl, according to the Oswego City Police Department.

Officers recovered approximately 31 grams of an off-white, rock-like substance that presumptively tested positive for cocaine base.

Police also seized 48 individual glassine envelopes that presumptively tested positive for fentanyl.

Additional items recovered included a scale with white residue, packaging materials and various drug paraphernalia.

Officers also seized $483 in U.S. currency.
