Nativity statues stolen in Marshfield

MARSHFIELD, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of statues from a nativity scene in front of a business on Cabot Road.

A baby Jesus statue and a lamb statue were stolen between Jan. 2 and Jan. 3, according to police.

The theft was reported at approximately 9:19 p.m. on Jan. 3.

Troopers from the Berlin Barracks are asking anyone who observed suspicious activity in the area of Cabot Road during that time frame to contact them at (802) 229-9191.
