DERBY LINE, VT — A local man faces criminal charges after allegedly threatening federal agents.
Timothy Christopher, 28, of Derby Line, was cited for criminal threatening and disorderly conduct following an incident at U.S. Route 5 and Ducharme Drive.
State Police received a report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection on Jan. 8 regarding the incident, which occurred at approximately 6:58 p.m. on Jan. 7.
According to authorities, Christopher made verbal and physical threats to cause serious harm to agents from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
State Police conducted an investigation and subsequently cited Christopher to appear in Orleans County Superior Court.
