SAUGERTIES, NY — A Palenville man was arrested following a suspicious vehicle complaint on Jan. 11.
Jason M. Handschuh, 42, of Palenville, was taken into custody at approximately 5:30 p.m. by the Saugerties Police Department.
Handschuh was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a felony, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a felony.
Police said Handschuh was found in possession of a handgun and rifle.
Handschuh was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and transported to CAP court for arraignment.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
