Man arrested on warrant in Burlington Flats

BURLINGTON FLATS, NY — A man turned himself in to authorities on Jan. 9 following an investigation into a domestic dispute and child custody matter.

Christopher Barletta, 32, of Burlington Flats, was arrested on a warrant charging him with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment.

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office investigated a reported domestic dispute and child custody dispute in the Town of Otsego on Dec. 25.

An arrest warrant was applied for and granted by the Town of Otsego Court.

Barletta turned himself in to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office to answer the charges.

He was turned over to Otsego County Corrections pending centralized arraignment.

The Otsego County District Attorney’s Office, Otsego County E-911, Fly Creek Fire Company and Cooperstown Fire Department assisted with the case.
