Woman arrested on warrants in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Pawtucket woman was arrested early Saturday morning on two outstanding bench warrants.

Adriana Vega, 41, of Pawtucket, was taken into custody at 1:27 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Corliss Street.

Vega was wanted on two Providence Superior Court bench warrants.

The first warrant was for failure to appear for a pre-trial conference on an original charge of possession of Schedule I to V drugs, originating from the Pawtucket Police Department.

The second warrant was for failure to appear for determination of attorney on an original charge of possession of Schedule I to V drugs, also originating from the Pawtucket Police Department.

Vega was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.

She was transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.
