EAST HARTFORD, CT — Police arrested a man on weapons charges Tuesday following a parking dispute that escalated into threats.
Officers responded to Krauszers at 12:47 p.m. after receiving reports of a verbal argument in the parking lot.
The dispute escalated when a suspect threatened to assault another person, according to police.
Officers spotted the suspect’s vehicle nearby on Main Street a short time later.
Lamonte Shannon, 43, of East Hartford, was found to be in possession of a 9mm Sig Sauer handgun and three live rounds, police said.
Shannon is a convicted felon with a history of firearm offenses in New York City, according to police.
He was taken into custody and faces multiple charges.
