Man arrested on drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A multi-month narcotics investigation culminated in the execution of a search warrant and arrest in the city Thursday morning.

Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 12 E. Hamilton St. at 6:03 a.m. Jan. 8.

Just prior to the search, investigators observed Bryan Torres leaving the residence and stopped him on W. 5th St., where he was detained.

During the search of the residence, investigators seized 11.4 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics, and $2,327 in U.S. currency.

Torres was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

He was transported to the Jamestown Police Department to be arraigned in Jamestown City Court.
