UTICA, NY — A woman was arrested and charged with burglary after she was allegedly found inside a residence wearing the victim’s clothing in November.
Stephanie Wilson, 46, of Utica, was charged Jan. 7 with burglary in the second degree and petit larceny.
Police said they took a burglary complaint in November from a victim who stated that when she arrived home, Wilson, whom she was familiar with, was inside her residence without permission.
As the resident began to speak with Wilson, she noticed the suspect was wearing her clothing, police said.
Several drawers in the home were open and the contents were scattered, according to police.
Wilson then left the residence and police were contacted.
