CLINTON, ME — A tractor-trailer crashed on Interstate 95 northbound early Thursday morning, leaving the driver injured and blocking traffic.
The Bangor Regional Communications Center received a report at approximately 3:49 a.m. from a passerby of the crash near mile marker 141.
The tractor-trailer had left the roadway and struck the center median, according to Maine State Police.
The driver was transported to Thayer Hospital in Waterville by Clinton Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The passing lane will be blocked to allow crews room to safely conduct recovery efforts due to the commercial vehicle’s location in the median.
The tractor-trailer was carrying grocery goods.
