NEWARK, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who stole groceries from a residence on Jan. 6.
The victim ordered groceries through Instacart, which were delivered to the front door of a home at 12:53 p.m. on Rockland Terrace between Smith Street and Stuyvesant Avenue.
Five minutes later, at 12:58 p.m., the victim’s doorbell camera captured the suspect walking up the stairs, taking the groceries, and fleeing eastbound on Rockland Terrace.
The stolen groceries were worth $139.
The suspect wore a grey jacket, black pants, and grey shoes.
