NORTH SALEM, NY — New York State Police are investigating a car-versus-pedestrian collision on Interstate 684.
Troopers from the Somers barracks responded to the area of mile marker 24.3 southbound at approximately 2 a.m. on Jan. 5, 2026.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a male was walking in the left lane of Interstate 684 when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
