PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Tuesday night following a traffic stop.
Jaden Powell, 25, of Providence, was taken into custody at 9:40 p.m. on Stokes Street.
Powell was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant for obstructing an officer in execution of duty.
The warrant originated from an investigation by the Rhode Island State Police Scituate Barracks.
Powell was transported to State Police headquarters where he was processed.
He was held pending morning arraignment.
