HOPE VALLEY, RI — A North Kingstown man was arrested Sunday on a domestic violence charge following an investigation by state police.
Nikolas J. Pereira, 33, of North Kingstown, was taken into custody at 11:15 a.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic violence-criminal violation of no contact order, first offense.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation by the Hope Valley Barracks, with the Warwick Police Department taking Pereira into custody.
Pereira was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution where he is being held as a bail violator.
