PROVIDENCE, RI — A Cranston man was arrested early Sunday morning on drunken driving charges following a traffic stop on Broad Street.
Dionicio Tejada, 38, of Cranston, was taken into custody at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 4, 2026, according to state police.
Tejada was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, second offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a bail violator pending morning arraignment.
