ROME, NY — The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a stolen snowmobile.
A 1998 Yamaha Vmax XTC 500 was last seen on Trail 7F in the area of Humaston Road, according to Sheriff Robert Maciol.
The snowmobile was photographed at 10 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2026.
Authorities believe the theft occurred between that time and 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2026.
Anyone who was in the area during that timeframe or has information about the stolen snowmobile is asked to call 315-736-0141 to speak with a dispatcher.
