PROVIDENCE, RI — A Texas man was arrested early Saturday morning after a traffic stop revealed he was driving a stolen vehicle.
Wilfredo Navedo Crespo, 45, of Newark, Texas, was taken into custody at 2:30 a.m. on Raymond Street.
Crespo faces charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and violation of a no-contact order, first offense.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a bail violator.
Crespo was scheduled for arraignment Saturday morning.
