MONTGOMERY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man on a DUI charge following a single-vehicle crash on Hazen’s Notch Road on Thursday night.
Brian Kohr, 34, of Montgomery, was driving a 2021 GMC Sierra when the crash occurred near Rossier Road at 8:47 p.m.
Police responded to the scene and found the vehicle with substantial front-end damage.
An on-scene investigation revealed that Kohr was under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
Kohr was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
He sustained minor to moderate injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center.
Following medical treatment, Kohr was transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation for DUI and is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Jan. 20, 2026, at 8 a.m.
Road conditions were snow-covered with light snow falling at the time of the crash.
