Man arrested on sexual assault charges in East Bridgewater

EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA — A man has been arrested on numerous sexual assault charges following an investigation by the East Bridgewater Police Department, according to Chief Michael Jenkins.

Mohamed Salieu Jalloh, 25, of East Bridgewater, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family/household member, threatening to commit a crime (assault and battery), threatening to commit a crime (murder), rape (five counts), furnishing liquor to a person under the age of 21 (two counts) and kidnapping.

On Wednesday, Dec. 31, East Bridgewater Police launched an investigation into reports that an 18-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by Jalloh multiple times in his East Bridgewater home after meeting through a dating app in the prior weeks.

The investigation revealed that Jalloh allegedly sexually assaulted the woman on multiple occasions from Dec. 27 to Dec. 31.

Jalloh, who is known to East Bridgewater Police, was arraigned Friday in Brockton District Court.

He was held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Thursday, Jan. 8, and his bail was revoked on an open case.
