Man arrested on domestic charges in Camden

CAMDEN, NY — A Camden man was arrested following a domestic dispute on Jan. 2.

Oneida County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence in the town of Camden at approximately 1:56 p.m. regarding a physical domestic dispute.

Further investigation led deputies to determine that an active order of protection was in place during the physical altercation.

William J. Noviscky, 40, of Camden, was taken into custody and charged with harassment in the second degree, a violation, and criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony.

Noviscky was transported to the Camden Field Office for processing.

He is currently being held awaiting centralized arraignment.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New York State Police and members of the Criminal Investigations Unit.
