RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — Firefighters battled a garage fire that spread to a home on Thatchers Hill Road just after the start of the New Year.
The Raritan Township Fire Company was dispatched to the residence and arrived to find heavy fire conditions originating in the attached garage and extending into the home.
Firefighters from Raritan Township worked with mutual aid partners from multiple Hunterdon County agencies to bring the fire under control.
Crews limited damage to the remainder of the structure while operating in sub-freezing temperatures.
