SCHODACK, NY — State Police responded to reports of a car off the roadway on Interstate 90 at about 8:20 p.m. Dec. 28.
The driver was identified as Eric C. Silenga, 43, of Westfield, Massachusetts.
Silenga was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
He was transported to State Police barracks in Schodack for processing where he recorded a 0.23% blood alcohol content.
Silenga was issued tickets returnable to Schodack Town Court on Jan. 14, 2026, and released to a sober third party.
No injuries were reported.
