RUTLAND TOWN, VT — A traffic stop for speeding led to a drug charge against a Pittsford man.
Christopher Clark, 43, was cited on a charge of possession of cocaine following an incident on Post Road on Dec. 23.
A trooper with Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle for a speeding violation at 12:35 a.m.
Clark was identified as the operator of the vehicle.
During the traffic stop, indicators of drug use were identified and a K9 was deployed on the vehicle.
The vehicle was seized and a search warrant was applied for and granted.
During the search of the vehicle, cocaine was located.
On Dec. 29, Clark was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Rutland Criminal Division on Feb. 23, 2026 at 10 a.m.
