BRIDGEWATER, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a Woodstock man on a DUI charge following a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 4 and Vermont Route 100 on Dec. 29.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks were dispatched to the crash at approximately 6:38 p.m.
The operator was identified as Jonah Harvey, 29, of Woodstock.
Police said Harvey failed to yield at a stop sign and crashed into a guardrail at the intersection.
During the investigation, Harvey displayed signs of impairment, according to police.
Harvey was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and sustained minor injuries, police said.
He was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Harvey was issued a criminal citation for driving under the influence.
Road conditions were snow and ice at the time of the crash.
Harvey was driving a 2018 Nissan Sentra, which sustained front-end damage.
