RED HOOK, NY — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Rockefeller Lane on Monday afternoon.
Red Hook police responded to the scene at approximately 2:45 p.m. after being dispatched by Dutchess County 911.
Police determined a 2022 Toyota traveling westbound on Rockefeller Lane failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2016 GMC traveling southbound on Linden Avenue.
The Toyota was driven by a 39-year-old man from Kingston.
The GMC was driven by a 55-year-old woman from Red Hook.
The Red Hook woman and her 16-year-old passenger were both injured and transported to Kingston Hospital for treatment.
The Kingston man and his 62-year-old passenger were not injured and refused medical attention at the scene.
The Kingston man was issued traffic tickets for failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to yield the right of way.
Red Hook police were assisted at the scene by the Red Hook and Tivoli fire departments and Empress EMS.
