MILFORD, MA — Three people have been charged in connection with a violent assault and robbery that occurred in late November.
On Nov. 29, at approximately 3:20 a.m., Milford Public Safety Communications received an emergency call for a possible fight in progress near East Main Street and Middleton Street.
Officers located a 21-year-old male with injuries to his face upon arrival.
The victim reported he had been assaulted and robbed by multiple assailants.
An investigation by the Milford Police Patrol Division and Detective Bureau led to the identification of three suspects: Christian George, 26, of Milford; Mikayla Sousa, 24, of Milford; and Jaryn Platt, 36, of Worcester.
Sousa was interviewed at the Milford Police Department at 3:25 p.m. that day and subsequently arrested.
On Dec. 1, Platt turned himself in to Milford District Court.
On Dec. 26, at 9:01 p.m., George was apprehended on warrant charges related to the assault.
George has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and armed robbery.
Sousa has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
Platt has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.
