NORTH HAVEN, CT — A 32-year-old man was arrested on Dec. 24 after a disturbance, according to the North Haven Police Department.
Patrol officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance and made contact with John Delsanto, 32, of North Haven.
Officers observed Delsanto, who appeared heavily intoxicated.
While officers were present, Delsanto stated his intention to operate a motor vehicle.
Officers advised him that operating a vehicle while intoxicated would result in his arrest.
Despite these warnings, Delsanto refused to comply with officers’ instructions.
Delsanto then attempted to make physical contact with one of the officers and was subsequently placed under arrest.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer.
