UTICA, NY — Police responded to a residence on the 1500 block of Genesee Street at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Dec. 24 after reports of a physical domestic incident.
Officers spoke with the victim, who said they were punched in the face during an argument with their partner.
The suspect, Terrelle Hines, 21, of Utica, was taken into custody after police determined he violated an active order of protection.
Hines was transported to the Utica Police Department and charged with criminal contempt in the first degree and harassment in the second degree.
