Four arrested on separate charges in Fulton County

JOHNSTOWN, NY — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office made four arrests between Dec. 8 and Dec. 14 after handling 171 incidents during the week.

Bo R. Ostrander, 42, of Maryland, was charged in the Town of Perth Court with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree, a class E felony, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, an unclassified misdemeanor.

Roy C. Hammond, 53, of Amsterdam, was charged in the Town of Johnstown Court with assault in the second degree, a class D felony; attempted assault in the second degree, a class E felony; resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor; and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Kayla L. Orsell, 37, of Johnstown, was charged in the City of Johnstown Court with promoting prison contraband in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Ross M. Vanalstyne, 30, of Gloversville, was charged in the Town of Johnstown Court with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the fifth degree, a class D felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
