Two arrested on drug charges in Massena

MASSENA, NY — Two people were arrested on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Dec. 19.

Tia-Rose G. Stephenson, 31, of Massena, and Justin P. Love, 33, of Massena, were each charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 1st degree, a Class A2 felony.

They were also charged with one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, a Class B felony.

Additional charges included eight counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and two counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

The search warrant was executed by the Troop B Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement team as the result of a multi-agency investigation.

The warrant revealed Stephenson and Love to be in possession of cocaine, scales, packaging and a quantity of currency indicative of drug sales.

Both were arrested and transported to the State Police station in Massena for processing.

After being arraigned in the Town of Massena Court, both were remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail without bail.

The New York State Police was assisted by the Massena Police Department, the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
