MOUNT HOLLY, VT — A man was arrested following a traffic stop after fleeing from police twice earlier in the morning.
On Dec. 23, at approximately 9:22 a.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks conducted a traffic stop on Nicholas Turco, 46, of Mount Holly.
Turco had fled from Rutland City Police Department and State Police during two separate incidents earlier in the morning, according to police.
Turco was found to have a criminally suspended license and an active in-state warrant with $500 bail.
Turco was also found to be in violation of court-imposed conditions of release for operating a motor vehicle on a public highway.
Turco was placed into custody and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
Turco was issued citations to answer charges of criminal driving with a suspended license, two counts of violation of conditions of release, eluding a police officer and resisting arrest.
Following processing, Turco was transported to court as a result of the in-state warrant.
