WILLIMANTIC, CT — Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding critical injuries to an infant.
The Willimantic Police Department began the investigation on the evening of Dec. 21.
Police became aware of an infant that was transported to Windham Hospital following a report from the parents that the child had experienced a fall the prior evening.
After evaluation at Windham Hospital, the infant was transported to Connecticut Children’s Hospital for additional medical care and is currently listed in critical condition.
Police are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
