MARLBORO, VT — A Massachusetts man faces criminal charges after being stopped for speeding on Vermont Route 9.
Anthony T. Rubino, 22, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was stopped at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 21 after his vehicle was observed traveling at 73 mph in a posted 40 mph speed zone, according to Sgt. Norton of the Windham County Sheriff’s Office.
Rubino was charged with excessive speed.
He was released from the scene on a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division, at a later date.
Rubino was also issued a traffic ticket for the civil speeding violation.
