Man charged with possessing stolen property in Gouverneur

GOUVERNEUR, NY — New York State Police charged a St. Lawrence County man with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree on Dec. 19.

Kyle W. Daniels, 38, of Hermon, was found in possession of stolen property valued at approximately $850, according to state police.

The stolen property was located by members of the New York State Police and the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department in a vehicle that Daniels was operating, authorities said.

A multi-agency investigation led to the discovery of the stolen property.

Daniels was arrested and processed at SP Gouverneur.

He was arraigned in the Town of Gouverneur Court, where he was released under the supervision of probation.

At the time of his arrest, Daniels was found to have an active bench warrant issued by the Ogdensburg Police Department.

Following the arraignment, he was transported to the Ogdensburg Police Department and turned over to their custody.
