Man charged with assault in Corinth

CORINTH, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office filed an additional charge Wednesday in a case originally reported as an assist other agency call on Nov. 5 in the town of Corinth.

Fred E. O’Donnell, 42, of Corinth, was arrested and charged with assault in the 2nd degree, a class felony.

O’Donnell is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to another person by means of a dangerous instrument.

He is alleged to have struck another person with a blunt object resulting in physical injury.

O’Donnell was arraigned before the Honorable Michael T. Woodcock in the Corinth Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings in that court.
